We couldn't be more pleased to thank the 415 who had dinner and the many more who attended our Carroll County Democrats 12th annual Grover Cleveland Dinner at the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel in Bartlett on Saturday, May 12. Guest registration started at 6 with guests attending a Reception to recognize our 2006 Carroll County Candidates.

The CCDC was pleased to host students representing both Kingswood and Kennett High Schools at the 07 dinner. We hope that the 10+ students enjoyed the shared opportunity to hear John Edwards, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter, County and State Democratic officials and the mingle with a host of Presidential Representatives in attendance.

Additional fundraising at the dinner included generous contributions to our "Support the Troops fundraiser" as we received a few Phone Cards which we will be sending overseas to our soldiers that need them.

Etched Glass and Mug Fundraiser - we delivered about 4 dozen of the 07 dinner mugs and Glasses in support of our re-election fund.

Bill Jones and Fran DeFeo collected over 600 dollars in a 50/50 Raffle which 1/2 of the winnings were given back. Guest generosity and Bill and Frans effort will help in our next election cycle. Just wait and see.
