Carleigh Beriont is a local elected official, a mom of two young kids, the wife of a public school teacher, and an adjunct professor at the Harvard Kennedy School. Carleigh has spent her career studying the intersection of public policy and religion in the United States, and the lasting impacts of the U.S. nuclear weapons program in the Pacific. In 2024, Carleigh unseated a longtime Republican incumbent to win a seat on the Hampton Select Board where she currently serves as Vice Chair.
