Come celebrate 250 years of American Independence with Town Democratic Committees all over Carroll County!
Bartlett: The Helen Hayes Memorial Parade will begin in Bartlett at 11am. Please email the Bartlett Democratic Committee here if you are interested in walking in the parade or helping with preparations.
Conway: The parade will begin at 1:15pm at the Kennett Middle School. If would you like to walk in the parade or help to make signs, please email Ellin Leonard here.
Moultonborough: Line up at the Moultonborough Academy at 10:30-10:45 AM. Parade start time is at 11:00 AM. The parade commences on Blake Road, proceeds along Route 25, and concludes at the Moultonborough Function Hall. The entire route is 1.5 miles. Wear red, white and blue…or just wear red, white OR blue. We’ll have flags for you to wave and little flags to give to the crowd. Also decorated red, white and blue umbrellas. We’ll be prepared for rain or shine. Bring your kids, grandkids, bikes, friendly dog, wheelchair...just about anything goes as long as it is safe. Wolfeboro: The start site is on Old Lakeview Terrace, which is off North Main Street. The parade starts at 10 am but the political groups are last, and don't usually get out onto Main St until 11 am (or even later.) If you would like to march the entire or only a portion of the trade route, please email the Wolfeboro Democratic Committee here.
