Healthcare

Every Granite Stater deserves affordable, high-quality healthcare — no exceptions.

Carroll County Democrats are fighting to protect access to mental health services, addiction treatment, family planning, and affordable insurance for all. We’ve pushed back against short-sighted cuts to Medicaid and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services that threaten care in our rural hospitals and clinics. In a county like ours, losing even one provider can mean driving hours for basic care — we can’t afford to let that happen.

Democrats know healthcare isn’t a privilege — it’s a promise. We invest in prevention and care that keep people healthy, costs down, and local hospitals strong.

Kelly Ayotte and the NH GOP broke that promise. Their budget slashed $51 million from DHHS and added new Medicaid premiums that threaten coverage for thousands, driving up costs and putting rural care in jeopardy. That’s politics over people — and Granite Staters are paying the price.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
